Career and Technical Education

The mission of the career and technical education (CTE) area and instructional offerings is to respond to identified needs of business and industry through the development of market-responsive instructional programs that address the workforce training needs, issues, and technical assistance preferences of area employers. The degrees and certificates are assessed and evaluated twice annually by Advisory Boards, composed of nearly ten constituent groups, including business and industry, students, faculty, special populations, unions, and more. Since 2005, the college has developed and deployed numerous CTE certificates and degrees. For more information about the existing programs, please browse the website for current programs. As new programs are developed by the college, the website will be updated.
