    Film: White Like Me

    White Like Me is a 2013 documentary film based on the book White Like Me by Tim Wise. It is a personal account examining white privilege and his conception of racism in American society through his experiences with his family and in his community. Pizza will be served.

    #GhostlightProject

    The Falcon's Eye Theatre is participating in #GhostlightProject. We invite you to join us for the National "Ghostlight Project" event! It is a brief unity event that is happening outside of theatres from big Broadway theatres to Berkeley Rep to modest gatherings like us here at Folsom. It offers everyone a chance to feel safe and supported in who they are and to voice their hopes and dreams for the future. There is a brief ceremony involved at 5:15 pm outside the doors of The Drama Lab (PAC 1170 ). The ceremony will be over by 5:45. After that, we have time for a reception in the Drama Lab to talk about how we can support each other and enjoy music (so bring cookies!).

    Help expand and enhance the community garden and the native plant demonstration garden. Install native plants along the NEW mile-long trail at the farm to enhance our native food forest!

    Folsom Lake College (including the El Dorado Center and Rancho Cordova Center) is closed in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday on Monday, January 16th. No classes will be held.

    Folsom Lake College's Spring 2017 semester officially begins on Saturday, January 14th. Saturday classes and online classes (full term, 1st 8-week, and 1st 5-week) will begin- check with your instructor. Most classes will begin Tues., Jan. 17 - Mon., Jan. 23.

FLC will be closed on Monday, January 16th for Martin Luther King, Jr.'s birthday. Most classes will have their first session Tuesday, January 17th-Monday, January 23rd.

    President's Forum

    President's Forums are held each semester at each of the three sites. So if you cannot make it this time, there will be other opportunities!

    FLC, EDC, and RCC Re-open

    Location: Folsom campus, El Dorado Center, and Rancho Cordova Center

    Folsom Lake College (including El Dorado Center and Rancho Cordova Center) will be closed for Winter Break Thursday, December 23, 2016 thru Monday, January 2, 2017. Most college offices will re-open on Monday, January 3, 2017.

    The Spring 2017 semester officially begins on January 14 with most Spring classes meeting for the first time January 17-23. Students can register online during the break here. To check out the class schedule, click here.
