Arts Center Survey

August 02, 2010

We want to hear from you!

We want to hear from you!

Folsom Lake College is very excited to announce the launch of a community survey for the college's new Regional Performing Arts Center, which is slated to offer its first season in Spring 2011. The survey is designed to give the residents of the region the opportunity to share their thoughts on a wide variety of topics, including the kind of entertainment they would like to see at the Center.

"Our message to the residents of our communities is clear: the Regional Performing Arts Center is YOUR Center," said Folsom Lake College President Dr. Thelma Scott-Skillman. "This survey gives you the opportunity to tell us what you love about the arts and what you'd like to see."

The survey is available in two formats: print and online. The printed survey is being mailed to homes in the region - both in the college's Key tabloid publication well as in local newspapers - over the next few weeks. To access the online survey, click here. A drawing is being offered for those who take the survey - with the top prize being a $500 gift certificate that can be used for tickets to Center events.

"We are eager to engage our communities as the Center nears its opening," said Dave Pier, Executive Director of the Center. "We want to hear from you, so please use this survey as a starting point to connecting with us."

The $50 million Regional Performing Arts Center is currently under construction, with completion scheduled for October 2010. The Center's initial season is set to open in February 2011, with a gala grand opening event slated for February 11, 2011.
