"Form & Motion" by Marisa Sayago

The Harris Center for the Arts hosts the 16th Annual Folsom Lake College Visual Arts Faculty Exhibition in the Bank of America Gallery, November 18, 2016 through January 8, 2017, with an opening reception set for Friday, November 18, 2016 from 5:00-7:00 p.m.

The exhibition provides students, colleagues, and visitors a glimpse into the creative and professional work of the Folsom Lake College Visual Arts Department faculty. The participating artists include Diana Coco-Russell, Talver Germany, Aleris Hart, Brian Hayes, Eunyoung Hwang, Shadieh Mirmobiny, Marisa Sayago, Heike Schmid, and Margaret Welty. This is an exclusive opportunity to view artwork by some of this area's most dynamic artists and educators in one location. The show is representative of the long-standing strengths of the Department's programs focus on drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, metal arts, and ceramics.

The Bank of America Gallery exhibits six shows annually, including works of art by college faculty, students, local, regional, national, and international artists. The gallery is located immediately to the left of the front entrance of the Harris Center. Gallery hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 12:00-4:00 p.m. as well as one hour before, and during intermission of, performances at Harris Center. Admission is free. When visiting the Gallery on a weekday, a parking permit is required. Permits are available for $2 per vehicle from automated kiosk dispensers located near the parking lot entrance.
