FLC Music Department presents Great Choruses: The Alpha and Omega with guest ARC Orchestra
Tuesday, December 5, 7:30pm, Stage 1
Join the Folsom Lake College Choir, directed by Dr. David Newnham, and the American River College (ARC) Orchestra, directed by Dr. Steven Thompson, for an evening of transcendent music. Mozart's Requiem was inspired by Handel's sublime Oratorio. Conductor Harry Christophers said, "I'll know it's time to stop conducting Messiah when my back no longer tingles with excitement when I get to the Amen chorus, an electrifying moment." Tickets are $15-$20. 

FLC Dance Department presents Evening of Dance featuring MOSAIC Dance Company
Thursday, December 7, 6:00pm,  Stage 1
Spend an evening with Folsom Lake College's Dance Department and the MOSAIC Dance Company, enjoying an array of dance styles including ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, lyrical, and contemporary, as well as musical theatre and world folk forms. Tickets are $8-$15.

FLC World Music Ensemble presents World Music Fest with special guest Khulan Hood
Thursday, December 7, 7:30pm, Stage 2/City Studio Theater
Join Folsom Lake College's World Music Ensemble as they host an array of innovative performances featuring our own very talented musicians as well as guests representing music traditions from around the globe! This will also mark the return of FLC's Afro-Cuban Funk Band to the Harris Center. Tickets are $3-$10.

FLC presents Youth Chamber Orchestra Fall Concert
Saturday, December 9 at 7:00pm, and Sunday, December 10 at 2:00pm, Stage 3/Scott-Skillman Recital Hall
The Folsom Lake College Youth Chamber Orchestra inspires music appreciation and excellence among young people ages 12-18, and aims to increase community awareness of and participation in the musical experiences of area youth. Led by Dr. Evgeniy Sporov, the Youth Chamber Orchestra is made possible by a generous donation from the Robert S. and Star Pepper Foundation. Tickets are $15.
