Folsom Lake College's Fall 2014 semester is almost here, with classes starting August 23. A variety of classes, including many core general education classes, remain open for registration. Interested students should enroll now to make sure they get the classes they need.

To get started, all new students must complete the following steps:

Step 1 - Apply
Complete your application online here. You will then receive a "welcome" email that includes your personalized student ID number, which you will need in order to access all of our services.

Step 2 - Complete Orientation
Orientation is offered in an online format here. Complete the online orientation and quizzes the day after you receive your student ID number.

Step 3 - Complete Assessment/Placement
Assessment of your skills in mathematics and English will help you succeed in college by placing you in classes appropriate to your skill level. ESL (English as a Second Language) students are also required to take the ESL assessment. Find out more here.

Step 4 - Create an Education Plan
