Smoke-Free College

FLC PISO
July 28, 2016

Folsom Lake College is smoke, tobacco, and vape-free as of Monday, August 1, 2016.

The new restrictions on the use of tobacco products apply to all Folsom Lake College sites - the main Folsom campus, the El Dorado Center in Placerville, and the Rancho Cordova Center. Smoking, the use of chewing tobacco and other smokeless tobacco products, the use of medical marijuana, and the use of unregulated products such as vaporizers and "e-cigarettes" will be prohibited in all indoor and outdoor spaces, parking lots, and college vehicles (Los Rios Regulation R-1411.5.10).

Adherence is the responsibility of all students, faculty, staff, and visitors. For those that wish to smoke, please do so during scheduled break times and off Folsom Lake College property lines.

For more info on the new Smoking Policy, click here. Want to quit? Click here for smoking cessation resources.

Thank you for your cooperation in making all the FLC campuses smoke, tobacco, and vape-free.
