Spring play runs thru 5/16

FLC PISO
April 13, 2010

The Falcon's Eye Theatre at Folsom Lake College presents William Finn and Rebecca Sheinkin's Tony award-winning musical, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee to conclude our 2009/2010 performance series.

This hilarious hit musical tale of overachievers' angst chronicles the experiences of six adolescent outsiders vying for the spelling championship of a lifetime. The show's creative team has created a quirky yet charming cast of outsiders for whom a spelling bee is the one place where they can stand out and fit in at the same time.

The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee opens on Friday, April 30, and will continue through Sunday, May 16. Performances begin at 8pm on Friday and Saturday nights and 2pm on Sunday afternoons (there will be extra performances on Saturday, May 8 at 2pm and Thursday, May 13 at 8pm with a special ticket price for ONLY these two performances of $5). All other tickets are $15 General Admission and $10 for students, seniors, and SARTA and LOST members. There is no advanced sale of tickets. Tickets may only be purchased at the door of the theatre an hour before the start of the performance, in CASH or CHECK ONLY. You may guarantee a seat by calling the box office at 916-608-6800 and making a reservation.

The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee will be performed at Oak Hills Church, 1100 Blue Ravine Road, in Folsom (for directions, click here).
