Enrollment Fee Increase for Summer/Fall 2012:

As you may have read in media reports, the State Legislature and Governor have raised community college enrollment fees to $46/unit. The new fees will take effect for the Summer 2012 session. Have you checked to see if you're eligible for the Board of Governors Fee Waiver? Go here for more information: http://www.losrios.edu/lrc/bog_steps.php

Please note the following important registration dates:

Starting April 1 - Continuing students can submit their supplemental form online at eServices

Starting April 12 - Check eServices to view your upcoming Priority registration appointment date

April 23-27 - Priority 0 registration for students eligible for DSPS, EOP&S, foster youth, former foster
youth, any member or former member of the Armed Forces of the United States, and
any member or former member of the State Military Reserve

April 26 - Last day to meet with a counselor for Priority 0.5 enrollment eligibility certification

April 27 - Priority 0.5 registration for continuing students who have completed a minimum of 12
units in LRCCD who will graduate or transfer to a baccalaureate college/university
after the Fall 2012 semester; students must meet with a counselor by April 26 to verify
transfer/degree readiness and submit appropriate form (one-time-only option)

April 30-May 10 - Priority 1 registration for continuing students; must submit supplemental form

May 11 - Priority 2 registration for new, matriculated students (1st time to college); students must
have completed assessment, orientation, and counseling

May 14-16 - Priority 3 registration for new to college, new transfer, returning, and returning transfer
students; must apply and complete pre-enrollment steps

May 17-18 - Priority 4 registration for Advanced Education students (in-person registration only);
must apply and complete pre-enrollment steps

Starting May 21 - Open registration for all students; must apply and complete pre-enrollment steps

June 11 - Summer 2012 session begins

August 25 - Fall 2012 semester officially begins

August 27-31 - Most Fall classes have their first session
