Foundation Scholarship Program

Los Rios Online Scholarship Program

The Folsom Lake College Scholarship Website is now closed.  Please check back in January of 2015.

At the time of application, the applicant must have completed at least 6 units at FLC, and must be enrolled at FLC for a minimum of 6 units.  If you are a high school senior in one of FLC's feeder schools, you are also eligible to apply for the Folsom Lake College Foundation Scholarship.

To view available scholarships and their additional requirements, please go to the Online Scholarship Application at https://scholarship.losrios.edu/ and click on the image for FLC.

TIP: Since there is a 30-minute time limit to enter and submit your information, use a word processing program to complete your application, which will give you time to carefully answer the questions.  When you're done, you can easily cut/paste your answers into the on-line application form.

Students are encouraged to apply for as many scholarships as they qualify for.  Every year scholarship dollars go unclaimed because the scholarship received no applicants, so please take the time to apply.  Good luck!

The following scholarships will be offered during the next scholarship period:
1 California Retired Teachers Association - $1,000
1 Crossroads Diversified Services - $1,000
6 Folsom Lake College Foundation - $600
1 Founding President's Scholarship - $250
1 Mercy Hospital of Folsom Scholarship - $1,000
1 North State Building Industry Association - $1,000
1 Roger Smith DSPS - $250
1 Rogers-Smith Phi Theta Kappa - $250
1 Sevy Cimaroli Memorial Scholarship for Physical Education - $600
1 Sutter Scholarship Program - $1,000
6 The California Community Colleges Scholarship Endowment, Bernard Osher Scholars - $1,000

For questions, please contact the Foundation Office at (916) 608-6643.

Book Scholarships

The awards are made in the form of a voucher valid only at the Folsom Lake College bookstore. All students of Folsom Lake College are eligible to enter by simply filling out an on-line entry form (this link will be emailed to students when the entry period opens) or by dropping it off at the Foundation Office, located in room FL1-9 on the  Folsom Lake College campus.
