Mini Grants

Professional development, instructional materials and equipment for the classroom are basic and essential needs for the quality of education Folsom Lake College is committed to providing. Because of state budget cuts, the College budget can no longer completely provide funding for these types of needs.  The Folsom Lake College Foundation grants $5,000 each year in Mini-Grant Awards to college faculty and staff for this purpose.  Awards may support classroom resources, technology refreshment, program development, technical equipment, conferences, workshops and a myriad of other opportunities.

The purpose of the Mini-Grant is to provide funding assistance for projects that are not supported by the existing budget and to uphold the college mission of fostering student learning and success.

Applications from Folsom Lake College faculty, staff and even student organizations are thoughtfully reviewed and recipients determined by a committee of the Folsom Lake College Foundation once each year.

We are now accepting applications for Faculty and Staff Mini-Grants.

Faculty, staff and student groups are encouraged to review the guidelines and the application carefully before submitting a grant request.

How You Can Help

Funding for Mini-Grant Awards is made possible through the gifts of generous donors to the Folsom Lake College Annual Fund.  Those interested in making a gift to the Annual Fund can do so online by clicking here. For further assistance, please contact the Advancement Office at 916-608-6705.

You can also contact the Foundation directly at (916) 608-6705.
