Folsom Lake College Youth Arts Academy dates for Summer 2015 are:

Week 1: July 6-10*
Week 2: July 13-17*

* Daily: 8:30 - 3:30 pm (Children will need to bring a snack, lunch and t-shirt).
Each week's projects and curricula are different, so a child may sign up for both weeks. Students are placed in four different groups dependent on age, since the art projects will be age appropriate. If you have a special request to have children placed in the same group, please email the Youth Arts Director (contact info below) once you have registered.

The cost for each week is $85.00. There is a sibling discount of $10 off for each additional sibling. All art materials are included in the price.

Online registration will begin on Monday, April 20, 2015 at 10:00 am. First come first served basis.

* Cancellation fee of $15 applies to all registrations.

The mission of FLCYAA is to inspire art appreciation and excellence among children ages 8-14 and increase community awareness of and participation in visual art experiences of the youth of Folsom Lake College's service area (Rancho Cordova, Folsom, El Dorado Hills, Cameron Park, Shingle Springs, Placerville and surrounding communities). The Folsom Lake College Youth Arts Academy is made possible thanks to the generous donation of The Robert S. and Star Pepper Foundation.

Participants in the Arts Academy Summer Program will enjoy classes with master teachers who are also working artists. Classes in drawing, painting, sculpture, and printmaking will be enhanced with visits to the Harris Center Bank of America Art Gallery and a final "gallery" exhibition for parents and family on the final day of each week.

For more information about the Academy, please contact Marisa Sayago, Youth Arts Director at 916-608-6556.
