Give Now

Although community colleges provide the best value in higher education, many students require assistance with fees, books, and supplies. A large percentage of our students are working either full-time or part-time in order to pursue their higher education. Your support and investment in the student scholarship program opens up avenues to higher education that are out of reach for many individuals throughout our community. When you support the Folsom Lake College Foundation Student Scholarship program, you enable students to focus on their educational goals and to take steps toward the realization of their potential.

How You Can Help

There are several ways you can support our scholarship program.  The first is by giving to our Annual Fund.  The Annual Fund supports all of our scholarship programs, including the Textbook Scholarship and Student Emergency fund.  Even if you can only give $5, when enough of us join together, you can make a big difference in the lives of students.

Named Scholarship

You can create a scholarship in your name, the name of your business, or even a loved one, for as little as $500.  Creating a scholarship in your name, or in honor of a loved one, is one of the most direct ways to support student success. Such a gift allows you to direct the scholarship to support students majoring in particular programs or areas of study that match your interest.

More information, as well as the Named Scholarship Form can be found here.

Endowed Scholarship
Endowed scholarships are made in honor of a special person, event or organization, and are a perpetual gift to the college. Once the endowment reaches a predetermined amount, the interest from the endowment is used to fund yearly scholarships.

If you are interested in supporting Folsom Lake College's scholarship program, please contact the Foundation office at 916-608-6643.
