Creating Wealth through Opportunity

California's community colleges, and Folsom Lake College specifically, are the true people's colleges. Literally million of our citizens owe their job, their occupational upgrade, their transfer to a four-year institution, their critical thinking abilities, their reading and writing abilities, and their increased levels of tolerance, compassion, and humanity to community colleges.

Thousands of students, hundreds of opportunities, one great place: FLC Athletics

The college athletics program is a vital part of the college's instructional and student support programs. Every contribution - every investment to the athletics program - will enable the college to maintain and enhance the  athletics program at a time when state resources do not cover the full cost of operations.

FLC Athletics Mission

Folsom Lake College intercollegiate athletics, an integral program within the Kinesiology, Health, and Athletics (KHA) department, is committed to providing quality athletic and academic programs that enrich and empower students and community members to reach their full potential as informed and productive members of their community.  The sports complex is a $54 million facility dedicated to instructional, athletic, and community usage funded by local bonds (Measure A & M), with additional support from the Folsom Lake College Foundation.

Folsom Lake College intercollegiate athletics venues will:

  • Provide student athletes with intercollegiate opportunities that will lead to their academic success and personal development as well as foster self-fulfillment through athletics participation
  • Enhance the quality of life of community members through their attendance at athletics events and usage of the venues that contribute to their own personal wellness
  • Contribute to the area's economic impact and wealth by attracting intercollegiate athletics events to the Folsom area

The Folsom Lake College Foundation would like to offer you a unique opportunity to become permanently and significantly associated with FLC Athletics. Naming opportunities are  one of the most visible and important legacies that can be established at Folsom Lake College. View or dowload the brochure here!
