About the Annual Fund

Student Scholarships. Faculty and Staff Mini Grants. Special projects that help advance the vision and mission of Folsom Lake College. These things and more are supported by the Annual Fund. Since 2005, the Foundation has awarded more than $21,000 in mini-grant support to FLC faculty, staff and student clubs for needs that can't be met with public funds.

A Call to Action: The Faculty and Staff Campaign!

As a member of FLC’s faculty and staff, you support College initiatives and programs through your daily contribution of time and talent.

This year, the FLC Foundation is holding its first annual Faculty and Staff Giving Campaign, and the goal is to achieve 100% participation in employee donations to the Annual Fund. You donate the amount of your choice. It can be as little as $5 or as much as you are able to give. Remember: When you give to the Foundation, we GIVE BACK!

Become a NEW donor or INCREASE your donation to win!

The month-long campaign coincides with our Mini-Grant application period, and all faculty and staff who contribute to the Annual Fund will be entered to win a random drawing for one of two $250 mini-grants*! If you are a current donor and decide to increase your monthly payroll contribution, you will receive a second bonus entry (double your chances to win), to thank you in advance for supporting the FLC Foundation and continuing to give back. (Recipients of the random mini-grant drawing will need to follow the standard rules and regulations on our traditional mini-grant application.) Here’s what some past recipients of the FLC Foundation Mini Grant have said about receiving their awards:

“FLC Veterans Resource Center began offering services to our veteran students in late 2012 with basically no budget. Without the mini-grant, we definitely would have had a difficult start. Thank you to the mini-grant provided by the FLC Foundation!”

Christine Wurzer, Recipient, Veteran’s Resource Center

“From Aerial Imaging in the Geosciences to 3D Printing and Robotics, the FLC Foundation Mini-Grant program has served as a catalyst for innovative curriculum. Grant funds provide crucial momentum for inventive teaching initiatives, and make possible engaging, hands-on learning opportunities for students.”

Zack Dowell, Recipient, FLC Innovation Center

*In order to qualify for this year’s random mini-grant drawing, one time gifts to the Foundation or payroll contribution forms must be received by Friday, April 3, 2015.

Make a one-time donation or sign up for automatic payroll deduction. Regardless of size, every gift makes a difference! Donating is easy:
