How You Can Help
Although community colleges provide the best value in higher education, many students require assistance with fees, books, and supplies. A large percentage of our students are working either full-time or part-time in order to pursue their higher education. Scholarships bring higher education into the reach of students for whom a college education might not otherwise be attainable.
General
General scholarships are funds that are established by a donor which may or may not have specific criteria that the awardees must meet.
Endowments
Endowed scholarships are made in honor of a special person, event or organization, and are a perpetual gift to the college. Once the endowment reaches a predetermined amount, the interest from the endowment is used to fund yearly scholarships. If you are interested in supporting Folsom Lake College's scholarship program with either a general or endowed scholarship, please contact the Foundation office at 916-608-6705.
