Harris Center for the Arts

Your philanthropic gift brings the best performances to our region and provides vital support for arts education in our communites.

Donors making outright gifts with no expectation of tangible benefits see 100% of their contribution support Harris Center services and programs. Undesignated gifts provide valuable general operational support, while designated gifts can support a special program like Youth Arts or an area of particular interest to the Donor.

The Harris Center for the Arts is committed to supporting and sustaining the arts across the Sacramento region. Fostering excellence in the arts, nurturing the next generation of performing artists, and making the arts experience an accessible and inspirational part of children's lives is the mission of our arts education program. Learn more about our outstanding Youth Programs and critically acclaimed Falcon's Eye Theatre.

For your $1000 donation, make a statement with a seat - or one for your favorite person - and put some personality into a customized plaque. Choose from available seats in Stage 1 for the life of the seat. We'd be happy to show you around, too, if you need help deciding. You can customize a maximum of two lines of text on your plaque - 20 characters per line (including spaces and punctuation). Once you make your donation online, we'll contact you to confirm the details.

Named in honor of long time Folsom residents and philanthropists Sevy and Neva Cimaroli, the Cimaroli Society recognizes those interested in leaving a legacy for future generations to enjoy and experience artistic work, celebrate cultural traditions, and participate in the creative process. Legacy gifts strengthen the Harris Center's endowment, provide much-needed annual income, and support our extraordinary mission to build community and enrich the lives of people throughout California's capital region. By including the Harris Center in your long-term plans, you can achieve the goals that are important to you - benefiting yourself, your family, and an institution that you value and believe in. In addition to a bequest in your will, there are other ways you may make a legacy gift. For example, you can name the Harris Center as a beneficiary of your retirement plan or life insurance policy. If you are looking for a way to supplement your income, you can establish a charitable gift annuity, or a charitable remainder trust, which are gifts that will support the Harris Center and pay you, and/or other designated beneficiaries, income for life.

Assure that your favorite artist or art form is presented on stage, while also receiving visibility in the community and/or access to other valuable sponsor benefits. Corporate Sponsorships are also available. Please contact Annette Manz at Annettemanz@visionmarketing.com or 916-502-2944 to discuss this opportunity.

Gifts of stocks, bonds, mutual funds and employer matching gifts can apply to a membership or to a donation with no benefits. A Charitable IRA rollover, Qualified IRA Charitable Distribution and gifts from Donor Advised Funds can be used to provide support to the Harris Center for non-membership gifts such as endowment contributions, youth arts programs and/or general operating support, but cannot be used to fulfill membership payments (because donors are not permitted by law to receive privileges or benefits in exchange for this form of giving).
