Interactive Television

Folsom Lake College offers a selection of Interactive Television (iTV) courses originating from the Folsom campus that are simultaneously available at several remote locations. Distance learning technology allows students at all sites to interact with the instructor (and one another) in real time. All classrooms are equipped with cameras, television monitors, student microphones, and room audio systems. This includes:

  • Folsom Campus - Aspen Hall 109 (same room as the instructor)
  • El Dorado Center - C215 in Placerville
  • Rancho Cordova Center - RCC14 in Rancho Cordova
  • In addition, select courses are available at the Amador County Transportation Commission Building (ACTC), located in Sutter Creek. Please check course schedule for availability.

All iTV classes are streamed live, recorded and archived on a password protected server. Students can access these recordings on demand via the Internet to review specific content throughout the semester. Please contact your instructor for further information.

For more information, please contact Media Services by email at ms@flc.losrios.edu or by phone at 916-608-6516.
