Textbooks on Reserve

Textbooks for many classes at EDC are available to use for 2 hours, 1 day or 3 days at a time. El Dorado Center Textbooks 

If you are an instructor at the El Dorado Center, please visit the library to place your textbooks on reserve. Please contact Regina Maduell at (530) 642-5695 or MaduelR@flc.losrios.edu if you have any questions.

Research Assistance & Appointments
Librarians are available to help you with your research assignments and interests throughout the semester. Students can drop by the library Monday - Thursday without an appointment (Fall & Spring), or may schedule a 30-minute research appointment and recieve some one-on-one help. You can complete the Request Research Appointment form to arrange for a research appointment Monday - Friday (Fall & Spring) and Monday - Thursday (Summer).

Library Instruction Sessions

If you are an instructor at the El Dorado Center, you may request library instruction for your class. These 50-minute sessions demonstrate how to use the library, its services and available resources. Basic search strategies, techniques and tips are also covered. Instructor's presence during each library instruction session is required.

At least a 1-week notice is required to schedule an instruction for your class. If you have any questions please contact James Telles at 916-608-6528 or tellesj@flc.losrios.edu. Fill out the web form to begin the process. The librarian will confirm your instruction date and time.
