Public Transit Information

Thanks to the Los Rios Community College District Student Regional Transit (RT) Pass, you can now use public transit every Spring & Fall to reach the Folsom Lake College main campus at 10 College Parkway in Folsom, the El Dorado Center in Placerville (6699 Campus Drive), and the Rancho Cordova Center (10378 Rockingham Drive, Sacramento). To take advantage of your public transit opportunities, make sure to get your Student Access Card and RT Pass sticker!

MAIN FOLSOM CAMPUS
Here is the easiest way to use Folsom Stage Line and Sacramento Regional Transit Light Rail to reach the main Folsom campus:
- Go to any of the RT Light Rail stations. Take the train toward Folsom.
- Get off at the Iron Point Station (the first Folsom stop on the line).
- Get on the Folsom Stage Line Route 10 bus. This bus goes to Folsom Lake College.

NOTE: Your sticker is NOT valid on Folsom Stage Line Dial-A-Ride buses.

EL DORADO CENTER/EL DORADO COUNTY
El Dorado Transit’s Iron Point Connector now offers direct bus service from El Dorado County to Light Rail in Folsom. The Iron Point Connector makes seven weekday round-trips. The route also makes eastbound stops at Folsom Lake College’s main campus. One-way cash fare for the Connector is $1.50 for students with a Student Access Card. Make sure you have your Student Access Card with current RT Pass sticker when using the Connector. El Dorado Transit’s FLC route connects the El Dorado Center in Placerville with the Missouri Flat Transfer Center, where students can catch the Iron Point Connector. Local fixed routes - including the FLC route, are free to students with their valid Access Card.

RANCHO CORDOVA CENTER
Regional Transit serves the Rancho Cordova Center with bus routes 72 and 75; also, the Mather/Mills Light Rail Station is about 3/4 of a mile from the Center. The easiest way to reach the main Folsom campus from the Rancho Cordova Center is to use Light Rail and follow the instructions above.
