Transcript Requests

Important Information:

  • Allow 10 business days for processing, plus mail delivery time

        Cost:

  • If you have ordered two or more official transcripts in the past, a fee of $2.00 per transcript must accompany your request.
  • There is an additional $10 fee per copy for Rush/Next business day processing.
  • If faxing your request, you must also fax the credit card authorization form for payment (see below).
  • If you plan to pick up your transcripts in person, you must do so within 30 days. Otherwise, they will be destroyed. .
  • Transcripts will not be released to a second party without written permission from student.  Picture ID is required if released in person.
  • Transcripts are not processed if you have an outstanding financial obligation to the Los Rios Community College Disrict.
  • Telephone requests are not accepted.
  • Transcripts cannot be faxed to you or anyone else.
  • Unoffiical transcripts cannot be mailed or faxed - they are available on eServices.

Your 4 Transcript Request Options:

  1. Online Form (can only be used when sending transcript to another educational institution)

    Click here for the secure Online Transcript Request Form. Use this option for transcripts to be sent directly to another college/university only.  The transcript request processing time is 10 business days, plus regular U.S. mail delivery time or electronic transmission, if available. If you need Rush service or are having the request held for grade posting, you must use options 2 through 4 below.
    Send check, money order, or credit card authorization with Student ID # to Folsom Lake College, Admissions & Records, 10 College Parkway, Folsom, CA 95630 - or fax credit card authorization (link below) to (916) 608-6569.

  2. Requests by U.S. Mail
    Click here to download and print the FLC transcript request form.  Make sure to SIGN the transcript request before submitting to Admissions & Records Office.  Mail your request form to the address on the form along with check, money order, or credit card authorization form with the request. 
  3. Requests by Fax
    Click here to download and print the FLC transcript request form.  Make sure to SIGN the transcript request before submitting to Admissions & Records Office.  Fax along with credit card authorization form  (downloadable document link below) to (916) 608-6569.  
  4. Requests in Person
    Go to the Folsom Lake College Admissions & Records Office, located in Aspen Hall (map).  Hours of service: Monday-Thursday, 8:30 am-6:30 pm, Friday, 8:30 am-4:30 pm.  Bring picture ID. Forms are available at counter. Cash, check or credit cards are accepted for payment.

Normal turnaround time for processing is 10 business days.
Rush/Next business day service is available with a $10 fee per transcript.
These requests will be processed by the next business day of receipt of request, then mailed out using the regular U.S. Post Service (we do not have overnight or express mail service).  We do not provide "while you wait" processing service.  

Payment
Payment by mail: Check, money order, or completed credit card authorization form.
Payment by fax: Completed credit authorization form.
Payment in person: Cash, check, money order, credit card (MasterCard or Visa)

If you cannot use the downloadable Transcript Request form, we need your name, Student ID number (or last four digits of your Social Security Number), date of birth, the address where you want the transcript sent, and your signature. Why? By law, we need your signature to send your information anywhere but an accredited institution.
