Folsom Main Campus Computer Lab

Folsom Lake College provides an open access computer lab at each of our campuses-the Folsom Main, the El Dorado Center and the Rancho Cordova Center. The labs are equipped with student workstations, printers, photocopiers, and state-of-the-art software applications. A friendly and qualified staff is ready to help you and happy to answer any questions you may have. Additionally, we are here to solve any technical problems including software, printing and network issues that you may encounter. We look forward to helping you succeed and encourage you to take advantage of our many resources!

Students can login to any campus computer by using their Los Rios Unified Login account. Your unified login is used by multiple services at Los Rios Community College District, including:

Computers on campus
eServices
Desire2Learn (D2L)
iMail
Wi-Fi (Wireless Internet)
Library Record

Students, Faculty and Staff who wish to activate a new account or reset a forgotten password can use the Password Security Management System. Guests and community members may use our wired networked computers as space is available. Simply check in at the Information Desk and a staff member will gladly log you on to one of our computers.

Saving Files
All files are deleted from the computer workstations when the user logs off. Patrons must bring their own storage device to save their work via the computer USB ports, CD/DVD-RW drives or as an e-mail attachment.

Printing
Your Student Access Card is also your GoPrint Card. You can use it to make photocopies or prints at any GoPrint station on campus. To activate your card, insert it into any vending GoPrint station and deposit the amount of value you wish to put on the card. Vending stations accept cash (bills and coin) only. Community members and guests may purchase a Print Card for $1.00 at the Information Desk and may use any of the GoPrint vending stations to add value on the card.
