The Distance Counseling service provides current and prospective FLC students an opportunity to connect with a counselor for guidance with non-urgent matters pertaining to academic and/or career planning. The service can be accessed via e-mail or by telephone. Telephone appointments must be scheduled in advance by calling: 916-608-6510.
Distance Counseling Can Assist Students with The Following
certificate, degree and transfer requirements
course offerings and majors available
referrals to programs/services
clarification of college procedures and policies
career exploration tools/resources
Personal counseling is not available via the Distance Counseling service.
PLEASE NOTE: The Distance Counseling Service will be unavailable June 20th to July 6th, 2014. Inquiries submitted during this time will be reviewed and responded to in the order received beginning July 7th.
