How to Apply for EOPS/CARE

    1. Pick up an application (available from the EOPS offices at each campus).
    2. Be sure to fill out the FAFSA or Dream Act, specifically the California College Promise Grant (CCPG) waiver. The CCPG waivers are available in the Financial Aid office.
    3. Take the English or Math assessment tests (if not using high school transcripts to place into classes).
    4. Be sure you have completed your FLC Steps to Success.
    5. Be sure to see a counselor and ask for an Education Plan.
    6. Turn in the application packet which includes the following:
      • The one page application.
      • A copy of your high school and/or college transcripts.
      • A copy of your assessment results.
      • A copy of your CCPG A, B, or C Fee Waiver. If you receive the CCPG C, your EFC must be 0.
      • A copy of your Student Ed Plan (SEP) created with a counselor.
      • A copy of your Fall 2018 class schedule.
      ** Important: These documents are required and applications will not be accepted if items are missing.
    7. Once you are admitted, attend a required EOPS Orientation.
