The following on-campus Federal Work Study (FWS) positions are available at Folsom Lake College (FLC), including the El Dorado Center (EDC) and Rancho Cordova Center (RCC). Your financial aid file must be complete and you must have received an award letter prior to obtaining a FWS position.
Steps for Obtaining a FWS Position:
Submit all required documents to the Financial Aid Office to complete your Financial Aid file.
Review the on-campus FWS job announcements below. If a position interests you, please conatct the supervisor for the position and schedule an interview.
If you are a potential match for the department, the supervisor will complete a FWS Request form and notify the financial aid office.
Upon receipt of the FWS Request form, the Financial Aid Office will email you and your FWS Supervisor a Work Study Award Notification via email. The Work Study Award Notification will be emailed only upon completion of your financial aid file.
You will be notified by your supervisor regarding your starting date of employment as soon as an employment packet (for new FWS students) or renewal paperwork (for continuing FWS students) is completed in full with the assistance of your FWS Supervisor.
Reminder: Your Financial Aid file must be complete in order to be awarded FWS.
