What to Expect After you Apply

Within two weeks after you complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), you will receive:

 

-- Your Student Aid Report (SAR) from the federal processor.

-- A Thank You letter from Folsom Lake College Financial Aid Office requesting additional documents    needed in order to complete your file.

 

Students must deliver completed supporting documents to the Folsom Lake college Financial Aid Office.  Students selected for verification by the U.S. Department of Education are required to provide additional documentation as requested. The verification review will not be finished until the student (and parent, if applicable) provides essential documents or information to the Financial Aid Office.

 

Once the documents have been received, the processing time can vary between 4-6 weeks. After your file is verified and completed, you will receive an award letter.
