Folsom Lake College main campus only, outside the Falcon’s Roost

  • Bike to school/Alternative transit day: Ride or walk to school in something other than a car, feel great, and get a free cookie!
  • Live music and dance
  • Bicycle blenders making fresh smoothies
  • Play inside Giant Hamster Balls!
  • Experience riding under the influence with 'beer goggles' simulation, hosted by campus police
  • Whymcycles: Come ride one man's vision where art, bicycles and childlike whims merge. See this video!

Yes it is possible to get places without a car! This fair will help support your effort to improve your health and your budget, and the health of your community and planet, by finding alternatives to gas powered cars. Featuring vendors, community agencies, food, music, student clubs and demonstrations.

Wednesday is also Bike to School Day! Use a combination of human powered transit (biking, walking, skateboarding, etc.) and/or public transit and receive a T-shirt and a chance to win prizes! FREE Bike valet parking will be provided from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm (after that you can move to the bike racks).

Join us as we pay homage to the ultimate sustainable green machine: the two wheeled, pedal-powered, ever-ready to roll, bicycle!
