RCC Peer Mentor Program

Are you enrolled in an ESL class at the Rancho Cordova Center? 

You may qualify for the Peer Mentor Program! The ESL Peer Mentor Program is a program where current and former ESL students who are highly proficient in English provide grammar, reading, and writing support for ESL students enrolled in:

ESLL20        ESLR20           ESLW20          ESLG50

ESLL30        ESLR30           ESLW30

ESLL40        ESLR40           ESLW40

ESLL50        ESLR50           ESLW50

RCC peer mentoring is located in the Learning Resource Center in RCC1-203

The Peer Mentoring Program provides additional English language support to ESL students by meeting with students one on one or in small groups:

  • Practice speaking, listening, reading and writing skills
  • Help with goal setting
  •  Assist in website and eBook work
