New Student Orientation

Congratulations on choosing Folsom Lake College (FLC)! 

It's important you complete the New Student Steps to Success to ensure you are prepared for your first semester. After completing Step 1: Los Rios Application and receiving your Los Rios Student ID Number, you will be ready to complete Step 2: Orientation.

Student have two options for completing the Orientation: 

1. IN PERSON: On-the-Ground Orientation

A fun and engaging experience tailored for students who plan to attend Folsom Lake College:

    • Recieve a FLC Survival Kit, including a copy of the New Student Survival Guidebook
    • Tour the FLC Campus
    • Connect with other incoming students and peer mentors
    • Meet college faculty and staff
    • Learn about FLC's academic programs and majors
    • Get to know the many services and resources available to you!


2. ONLINE: General Los Rios Online Orientation

*Students must wait 24 hours to complete the online orientation after receiving their Los Rios Student ID Number.

High School Group Orientations

If you are a high school teacher, counselor, or administrator, feel free to request an In Person: On-the-Ground Orientation for a group of your students.
