Unlawful Discrimination/Sexual Harassment/Sexual Assault Complaints (Title IX Coordinators)

Unlawful Discrimination & Sexual Harassment

It is the policy of the Los Rios Community College District and its colleges to eliminate all forms of unlawful discrimination and harassment, including sexual harassment. The District and its colleges will investigate all reports of misconduct and will not tolerate retaliation for reports of misconduct. The investigation will ascertain whether unlawful discrimination or harassment occurred. In addition, the District and its colleges will take steps to immediately halt any unlawful discrimination, harassment, and/or retaliation discovered and remedy any effects of that misconduct.

The District and each of its colleges has appointed an Equity Officer who is responsible for receiving complaints and conducting investigations into this misconduct. In addition, each college has appointed Title IX Officers who have the obligation to ensure that the District complies with its obligations under Title IX to eliminate gender-based discrimination and harassment.
