| REGISTRATION DATES
Registration for a semester or summer session is broken into five priority periods:
P-0:
Students participating in EOP&S and DSP&S programs, as well as Veterans.
P-0.5:
Current Los Rios students who will be transferring to a university and/or will be completing their AA/AS degree requirements at the end of the upcoming term. Students must meet with a counselor to determine eligibility.
P-1:
Current Los Rios students and new, first-time college students who have completed the matriculation process.
P-2:
New (non-matriculated) students, transfer students, and students returning after an absence.
Open:
All students.
The P-0 period was set up in accordance with state law. The Los Rios Board of Trustees has approved the remaining periods.
Within periods P-0, P-1, and P-2 students are randomly assigned (by our computer system) a day and time that will be the earliest that the student may register for classes. Students eligible for P-0.5 will have their day and time manually programmed by staff after submission of the appropriate paperwork to the Admissions & Records Office. Once students have reached their assigned day and time, they may register anytime thereafter.
