A quality child development center is available at Folsom Lake Center for preschool children of eligible Folsom Lake College students (FLC, EDC and RCC). The Folsom Lake Child Development Center serves toilet-trained children 3-5 years old. Hours Monday through Friday from 7:45am to 3:30pm.
Child care priorities are as follows:
- Income qualifying student (including work study students)
- Enrolled student who do not meet income qualifications
- Staff and Faculty
- Members of the surrounding communities
A campus child development center is not available at the El Dorado Center, however, students are encouraged to check with El Dorado County Child Development Programs at (530) 622-7130. Programs are adjacent to El Dorado Center at Ken Lowry Center.
