Falcon's Eye Theatre Presents "The Hot L Baltimore" Nov. 8-24 at the Harris Center for the Arts
October 28, 2019
Falcon’s Eye Theatre opens its thirteenth season with a production of The Hot L Baltimore, Lanford Wilson’s melancholic tragi-comedy of the unsung and the unwanted. This drama carefully renders a group portrait of dispossessed American souls in a seedy hotel on the eve of its demolition. It portrays everyday encounters of the human comedy. In the resulting mosaic, each character emerges clearly defined. The sum total of what they are becomes a poignant, powerful call to America to restore itself.
The Falcon’s Eye loves to create provocative theatre that looks into what it means to be alive and how we manage to live together. Its mission is to provide the community with insightful theatre that reveals new perspectives through fascinating storytelling that challenges audiences’ expectations.
