Folsom Lake College will be closed on Monday, November 11, 2019 in observance of Veterans Day. Consider attending one of these community events to honor those who have served:

19th Annual Wayne Spence Folsom Veterans Day Parade
Starting at 9:00am, Parade route will start on East Bidwell St. in front of the Target/HomeGoods parking lot and end at the Folsom Community Center (52 Natoma Street in Folsom)
Join us as we honor all veterans and celebrate their service! The theme of this year's parade is "Celebrating Over a Century of Service to Our Country and Going Strong." A brief memorial ceremony takes place immediately following the parade, in Folsom City Lions Park at the Veterans Memorial (near the flagpole).

El Dorado County Veterans Day Commemoration
Starting at 11:00am, Veterans Monument (360 Fair Lane in Placerville)
Join El Dorado County veterans, their families, and citizens of El Dorado County at the Veterans Monument to honor those who served the cause of freedom. Event includes: honor guard of veterans, parade of flags, color guard, National Anthem with flyover of WWII Warbirds including a missing man formation, dedication of a bench honoring Nisei veterans, and patriotic choral songs by the Ponderosa High School chorus.

Rancho Cordova Veterans Day Observance
Starting at 10:00am, Cordova High School Performing Arts Center (2239 Chase Drive in Rancho Cordova)
The Cordova Community Council is proud to present a community observance honoring those who have bravely served the nation in time of war and peace. Memorial bricks will be dedicated, inspirational remarks and honors bestowed - all against a background of patriotic music performed live by the Rancho Cordova River City Concert Band.
