students holding donation drive

As we approach the holiday season, many Falcons want to find a way to give back to their community. Here are some current opportunities:

Kids Coat Drive

Help local children stay warm this winter by donating a new or gently-used children's coat or jacket, now through Friday, November 22. Drop off your donations at the Main Folsom campus in the Center for Excellence (Aspen Hall FL1-108).

Toy Drive

The El Dorado Center Student Activities Club is collecting new, unwrapped toys to be donated to Toys for Tots, now through Friday, December 6. Drop off your donations at the El Dorado Center in the Admissions & Records Lounge (Building B).

Falcon Food Pantry

Folsom Lake College provides food and food vouchers to our students who are facing food insecurity. You may donate items to the following Falcon Food Pantry locations:

  • Main Folsom campus - Center for Excellence (Aspen Hall FL1-108), Equity Center (Aspen Hall FL1-110), Health & Wellness Services (Aspen Hall FL1-52), Office of Student Life (Falcon's Roost FR-113), Welcome & Student Success Center (Aspen Hall FL1-151)
  • El Dorado Center - Building B, Student Services
  • Rancho Cordova Center - RCC1, Front Counter

Give to Folsom Lake College or the Harris Center for the Arts

Your philanthropic gift makes an impact at Folsom Lake College and the Harris Center for the Arts. Giving to the FLC Office of Philanthropy is about connecting our donor's areas of interest to key initiatives of college and community life, whether your philanthropic interest is funding student scholarships, providing resources for the Innovation Center Makerspace, helping our veterans receive an education, supporting our student-athletes, or advocating for arts education. Your gift will benefit students, faculty, and the community, not only at this moment in time, but will also have a lasting impact into the future.
