Transfer Bound Students
Statistics and math support (MATHS) corequisite classes are required for those students who want to get to transfer-level coursework in their first semester, but need additional support:
- MATHS 33 - Support for Introduction to College Algebra (open to all students)

PSYC 330 - Introductory Statistics for the Behavioral Sciences
PSYC 330 - Introductory Statistics for the Behavioral Sciences is required for students majoring in Psychology, and is recommended for students majoring in the Social and Behavioral Sciences.
For the Fall 2024 semester, PSYC 330 is open to all students, regardless of placement; no sections of the PSYC 10 support course will be offered. Although PSYC 330 is open to all students, the formulas covered in this introductory statistics course require an understanding of several math concepts covered in MATH 333 - Introduction to College Algebra and earlier courses. Students who need additional assistance are encouraged to seek support from the Tutoring Center.

Graduation Proficiency Math Testing
Graduation Proficiency Math testing may be required for graduation if coursework is not completed in math or if evidence of competency passed is not presented at the time of petitioning for an AA or AS degree. There are two different math competency tests depending on the student's catalog rights. Students must meet with a counselor to complete the Math Competency Approval Form prior to scheduling a math competency testing appointment.
