Join Folsom Lake College's Falcon's Eye Theatre for an outdoor performance of Much Ado About Nothing by William Shakespeare, opening Thursday, May 9, and running through Sunday, May 12, 2024, at David Girard Vineyards in Placerville. The play is accompanied by live music. Attendees can also enjoy wine tasting from David Girard Vineyards and an optional boxed dinner from Allez! Restaurant.

About the Play

Much Ado About Nothing is one of Shakespeare’s more popular comedies. It is a story of romantic love with different journeys to a happy ending and is suitable for ages 8+ (subtle adult humor). 

Performances

This production will be performed outdoors at David Girard Vineyards (741 Cold Springs Rd, Placerville, CA). Tickets (including ticket fees) are $22.00 for general admission, $11.50 for students, and $37.75 for general admission and a boxed dinner made by Allez! Restaurant located in Diamond Springs. Wine will be sold separately by David Girard Vineyards.

  • Saturday, May 11 at 7:00 pm

  • Sunday, May 12 at 7:00 pm

Notes:

  • The show begins at 7:00 pm. Wine tasting and meal options start at 6:00 pm.
  • For boxed dinners, please select "General Admission Ticket W/ Box Meal" with your selection. Options are tri-tip, chicken and bacon, and vegetarian.

About Falcon’s Eye Theatre

Falcon's Eye Theatre is the production arm of the Department of Theatre and Cinema at Folsom Lake College. Falcon’s Eye produced its first season of plays in 2007 and has been offering multiple productions each year ever since. The company is known for creating provocative theatre that looks into what it means to be alive and how we manage to live together. Its mission is to provide the community with insightful theatre that reveals new perspectives through fascinating storytelling that challenges audiences’ expectations.
