"Hidden Talent" Student Art Show on Exhibit

The "Hidden Talent" Art Show, featuring artwork by students in Los Rios Community College District and Folsom Lake College's Prison and Reentry Education Program (PREP) and Rising Scholars Program, is now on display at the Harris Center for the Arts in the Bank of America Gallery from Friday, December 15, 2023, through Sunday, January 21, 2024. 

The PREP and Rising Scholars programs are committed to serving incarcerated and reentry students who have been impacted by the criminal justice system. The program provides a variety of resources that help build solid pathways from incarceration to higher education and beyond. 

Participating student artists include: Rodger Alley, Michael Cerda, Efrain Cornejo, Daniel Cruz, Mando Cruz, Jason Davis, Ramon Delgado, Eloy Diaz, Victorino Estavillo, David Fagundes, Jose Flores, Jonathan Gamez, William Gorhler, Fernando Gonzalez, Michael Heath, Jessie “Bear” Kerwin, Larry King, Ignacio Leyba, Jose Lito Zuniga, Ricky Lycero, Marcus Markist Denson, Andrew D. Mattson, Charles Miles, Peter Moran, J. Pulido, Manuel Salas, Patrick Benjamin Solis, Troy Spirk, and anonymous artists.

The show is curated by FLC Art Professor Zen Du and sponsored by the Los Rios Rising Scholars Program. All proceeds from sales in this show go to the Los Rios Rising Scholars Program.

The Bank of America Gallery is open an hour before and during intermission of performances in Stage One at the Harris Center or by appointment by emailing FLC Art Professor Marisa Sayago at sayagom@flc.losrios.edu. Admission to the gallery is free and parking permits are required ($2 daily permits can be purchased from kiosks).
