Free Drop-In Math and Science Tutoring at EDC

Nestled in the beautiful Sierra Foothills of El Dorado County, the EDC Tutoring Center provides a peaceful facility with a strong sense of community. We offer free drop-in tutoring for FLC students; no appointment is necessary and there's no daily limit!

Simply walk upstairs in the C building and drop by any time during our hours of operation and our friendly tutors will be happy to assist you. No questions? No problem! You can still utilize our tables and whiteboards for your own homework/study time. Simple flag down a tutor when you do have a question and we will be happy to assist you.

Free Mentoring at EDC

The EDC Tutoring Center in Placerville partners with the Science Center on Main Folsom campus to offer mentoring through the INDIS 314 and 315 Science Study Skills courses. View more information.

EDC English Center

Adjacent to the Tutoring Center is the EDC English Center where you can visit friendly and knowledgeable English tutors for help with any writing assignment. You can even take flexible and straightforward ½ to 1 unit English language classes to sharpen and hone your skills.

The English Center is also run on a drop-in basis and features a spacious room with tables, chairs, and computers where you can work on your assignments.
