STEM-Jam is a 9-week laboratory experience designed to give students the opportunity to explore real world science and to gain and/or refine basic foundational laboratory skills that will enable their success in the workplace and/or upper division lab classes upon leaving FLC.
The program consists of a kick-off session to introduce the program and safety in the lab, and seven hands-on lab sessions each of which emphasizes a different lab skill. The program will be concluded with a final session where students can hangout and share what they learned during the program.
Currently this program is on hold due to a funding shortage.
